In December of 2010, a lovely group of women I am associated with, asked if they could have a ShiAbbey group involving so-called, Christmas Songs, to be ready for the 2011 season. I of course, said "Oh yeah! Great idea!"

I was then given notes and lists, from which I picked songs... and ordered them to what I think is a pleasing flow... and doing the best I knew how to do, I researched on them... until you have what we now offer in this group... a wide arrangement of various holiday and wintry thoughts and songs.

Thus we give you the sixteenth Briar Rose ShiAbbey group, Yuletide Blessings!, meant to be inclusive of various songs and holidays, of the Winter Solstice season.

In searching out this subject, I would recommend that you first, check with Wikipedia.com for specific titles because sometimes there is a wealth of information, especially the older carols.
