Nun, Sister, Minister ?

Technically, if you are "out in the world" you are a Sister, and if you are "cloistered",  you are a Nun.  We live out in the world and are part of it. Few of us know each other by our real names, as we studied in private and that privacy was/is guarded vigorously. Once a Sister approves her page, I delete all contact information for her... she can never be tracked down via my computer!

We of the original study group, are almost all legal Ministers of the paths we follow excepting those religions who deny a woman such honor.  We all believe in going out into the world and doing good works,  in  lighting the corner where we happen to be. We do not however, believe in proselytizing others from their path, to our own.

This 'Abbey' is nothing more than a web site, a place where we have come together in mutual study and respect.  We were in essence, a study group who came back together to honor our founder. I hope to keep these old friends and make new ones for this website.

Our future has birthed in new groups of women who want to inspire other women who need encouragement, need a smile, need a provocation of new thoughts. As I type this, well over 1,000 women now share this web space for the benefit of others who might visit with us.

In no manner do I/we imply this is an organized religion, of a specific religious persuasion. Each of the chapel pages, is each woman's "chapel" of a thought that she wanted to share, as a representation of something dear to her heart.
